Biography

Phongphairoj Lertsudwichai was born in Bangkok, Thailand, Phongphairoj began learning the violin at the age of five with Ms. Pimaree Gingeo, Mr. Suphat Chantaweera, Mr. Juris Madrevich, later on, continued his studies with Mr. Sittichai Pengcharoen at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music. He has appeared with the Dr.Sax Chamber Orchestra as a concertmaster and soloist in residence, co-concertmaster of Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra, assistant concertmaster of Siam Sinfonietta, and many others.

Phongphairoj also appeared as an actor, his first main role 'Abdul' was in The Maestro: A Symphony of Terror (2020) which won the Spirit of Cinema Award from the Oldenburg Film Festival 2021. He is also a dubbing script translator and subtitle translator for Netflix Thailand, Disney+HotStar, and many more.

Aside from violin, Phongphairoj was a part of the college theater, where he played Inspector Javert from Les Misérables. He appeared in a number of opera productions, including L'Elisir Damore, Madama Butterfly, Helena Citronova, Das Jati (Mahosadha and Chandakumar), and Jesus Christ Superstar.
 

Phongphairoj is a skilled artist; his father taught him to draw when he was three years old. He received several national and international honors. Thai contemporary art and sketching are his preferred styles.
